Kar­tel Records | Amaz­ing Race Port Dickson

Event Day Low-​down:

This amaz­ing race route was recce’ed two times by our crew before rolling it out to the par­tic­i­pants. It all started in the morn­ing when our cool crew were set­ting up for the morn­ing amaz­ing race brief at Taman Tun Dr Ismail – Rasta. Every­one got set­tled in and had break­fast right before we moved into the amaz­ing race brief­ing. The brief took about an hour plus as there were a lot of good ques­tions thrown by the par­tic­i­pants as this was their first time indulging in such an event.

Once every­thing was sorted at the brief­ing, par­tic­i­pants had one last look at all their mate­ri­als in hand before embark­ing on their jour­ney through var­i­ous race sec­tors and com­plet­ing physical-​mental chal­lenge sta­tions while they were at it.

We routed a stop at “Per­sat­uan Keba­jikan Kanak-​Kanak Rhema” children’s home to donate all the trea­sures pur­chased by the participants/​teams halfway through­out the race. The Kar­tel team did even more than just giv­ing out their trea­sures, some spent time and played with the chil­dren and oth­ers gave more than they could to sup­port this children’s home.

The race took almost 6 hours before all teams started reach­ing the fin­ish sta­tion where a final team-​building chal­lenge awaited them. All team mem­bers got down and dirty to com­plete the final chal­lenge and score seri­ous points for their team.

They later went and refreshed them­selves while our Ice Cream Events mar­shals were tab­u­lat­ing and putting the scores together. We had a warm and funny answer-​presentation by Mr Shan­non Gomez who cre­ated every­thing from scratch by insert­ing funny cap­tions into pic­tures that were taken the whole day to doc­u­ment the race. The atmos­phere was filled with a lot fun as these par­tic­i­pants were music indi­vid­u­als and they really knew how to let loose and enjoy the night whilst being anx­ious to know who won the over­all race.

Every­one went home with a medal and the main cham­pion was awarded with a cash prize reward. The man­age­ment was pleased with our ser­vice and they are look­ing for­ward for one more event in 2016.
